The Mansion House - City of London

Home of the Lord Mayors of London since 1752, the building was designed by George Dance the Elder. The Practice acted as consultants during a major programme of refurbishment, previous works having included stone cleaning and structural strengthening following construction of the Docklands Light Railway.

Structure, services and fire protection were upgraded and various areas re-planned, clarifying the original design. Interiors returned to an early 19th century appearance, our redecoration brief extending to responsibility for furnishings, furniture and placing of works of art.
